The purpose of the Portage Lego County Fire / EMS Department shall be to protect the live & properties of Portage Lego County from injury, damage from fire or any other catastrophes & to promote the general welfare of the communities we serve & protect. The Portage Lego County Fire / EMS Department has been serving the city of portage lego since December 12, 1923. We take great pride in our department's history and our apparatus and strive to provide our citizens and surrounding areas with the best protection and qualified personal. As our saying goes " Bustin' Ours... ...Savin' Yours".

Company 37's original patch that was made before the new county fire / ems department was created. This patch is still carried on all apparatus and is out designated number for the LMFD which Portage County Lego Fire / EMS is a member of since 2010. This year marks 12 years since joining.
